Luke Sayers & The Last to Know

I have the honor of opening the night for Shawn Phillips at one of the Chicago areas best live music venues! Beginning in the 1960s, Phillips made noteworthy contributions to popular music. He co-wrote Donovan's "Sunshine Superman" album, sang on the Beatles' "Lovely Rita", showed Joni Mitchell guitar techniques, and while working with Donovan introduced the sitar to pop music. He performed at the "Isle of Wight" festival and was cast to play the lead in the original production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" (he had to withdraw due to his heavy recording and touring schedule.) SPACE has a sound system that allows you to FEEL the power of acoustic music in a beautiful setting. This night should not be missed. General admission is $18, Reserved table seating is $28

Concerts@Karen’s Place is a brand new house concert series in northeastern Oakland County, Michigan. A chance to see stellar musicians playing intimate concerts in a private home, set on 150 acres of farmland. With a capacity of 60 inside, and a larger capacity for outside performances in the summer, this is a true music lover’s dream. Ben Cyllus will be performing a fantastic opening set as well.
